Huge surprise! In addition to the Sturm & Drang Prize<\/a>\u2014the best paper award of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Goethe University Frankfurt\u2014I have also won the best teaching award (“Fachschaftspreis f\u00fcr exzellente Lehre<\/a>”) of the student council for my lecture\u00a0Financial Derivatives and Risk Managment<\/i>. Unfortunately, the award ceremony at the Dies Academicus had to be cancelled due to the corona crisis.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, it’s a great honor to get awarded this prize for excellent teaching, which is assigned after a secret ballot in the student council. Many thanks to the students, who have acknowledged my primary aim in teaching, namely conveying knowledge in the best possible manner.<\/p>\n
